There are times in life when we may want something more than God wants it for us. We might feel ready, but chances are we may not be. God already knows the plan He has for our life, and His timing is always perfect.
When we grow anxious and start pushing for what we desire, that’s the moment to realign and step back into His will. Ask yourself: Is this aligned with what God has for me? If the answer is no, even if it’s something you want with all your heart, you must be willing to seek peace in His answer.
Sometimes God whispers, “Hold on, my child. I have something better coming.” That’s when we need to trust Him most. Be obedient, not defiant, because blessings come through obedience. Our God is faithful, and He will never fail you. 
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11
