So each year my sobriety date passes I usually do a fb post, no celebration or cake🎉
There should be, this is what I recovered from:
I woke up and had a drink if there was one
I did have my coffee first or at the same time depending wht my drink of choice was
I would sometimes eat depending how sick I was
I would check to see how much $$ I had
When I didnt have enough we would take in the empties or look for donations
Oh and the pawn shop dont get me started there 
Be strong, be courageous you are not alone we have all been there

Heck yeah, celebrate yourself! Love a good mini cake. Where I live, Kroger makes these great little Tres leches cakes. That's my treat. Never wait for anyone to do for you what you can do for yourself. Let us know how you decide to celebrate this milestone.

Thank you for thinking about me, I will do cake & dinner with my gbabies let them know wht is all about. They have never seen me under the influence, thankfully.

I was explaining to the girls that I quit drinking long before they were born and my 5 yr old gdaughter said, "never grandma" and I said "yes"
