I was just prescribed antabuse and I’m curious if anyone else has taken it and what things I should stay away from. Obviously I know alcohol and cough medicine. Has anyone had bad experiences with certain foods, rubbing alcohol or mouthwash? (Not drinking either of those last two. Using them properly.) I want to be aware of what to stay away from so I don’t get sick. Thanks.

Hi Hannah - I took it for about 2 years. Didn’t have any adverse reactions to anything. Worked for the most part. I never drank on it. As I was afraid too. Heard different stories from other people.
I took it for a while and it didn’t work for me in the long run (apparently it doesn’t work if you decide not to take it 
lol).
My hands did tingle/burn once from using hand sanitizer
