Anxiety & Panic attacks

For many years, I’ve lived with an anxiety disorder that brings on SEVERE, debilitating panic attacks. The drinking always numbed that… but being sober the anxiety/panic has felt crippling lately.

Does anyone else struggle with this too and if so- what coping mechanisms or techniques have helped you manage it?

Meditation helps, and listening to music. There’s a app called iChill that gives grounding techniques

I had panic attacks until I started working out at a gym.

I had to start taking meds to address mine. Luckily they’re not sedating, but the panic attacks were unreal and I couldn’t function any longer without them. I truly wish you the best of luck! Hang in there!!
