Maybe you've already heard this, maybe not. Maybe you never were in the punk scene, you might still like this guy's take in AA.
Jack G, singer for SoCal punk band TSOL. Give it a listen, maybe order his book.

Closet I got to Punk was Rage Against the Machine and not sure if they are Punk but man the mosh pit was always a blast.
Thanks for shared Jack G’s, that was a good one. Lots of good stuff there…still listening though.
Punk or not, his story is amazing and his breakdown of AA is really good.
Man, that was good and hilarious. Lots of truths in there.
Hey glad you liked it. He has a pretty good book out as well, that is available on Amazon, regarding recovery.
I’ll check it out. His protective mom was a riot but it has some serious stuff as well, especially the part about the one dude who pretty much saved him and then passed away shorty after.
Yooooo, that was great. Right off the bat with the song analogy was perfect. Thanks for sharing. Cheers

Have you read dharma punks? Ol school punk is great.
I have not, I'll have to check it out. Look up Brad Warner's books (he was the bass player for Zero Defex 0DFX, Akron Ohio, hardcore band) and is a Zazen teacher now. The first to check out is Hardcore Zen.
Thanks so much
