Volunteering helped me through the pandemic. When I was bored I volunteered at the local food bank. Was super fun!

Maybe do something artistic...like embroidery. There is some really great modern embroidery out there. You can also learn a new skill

Just start first praying. Just do your work one step at a time. Just experience the emotion with gratitude that you aren't a slave to your thoughts anymore.

Do you have access to a guitar or piano? Do you like to write or journal? Music is good medicine for the soul. I’m a songwriter and it’s been my therapy. Tons of online resources.

Join Planet Fitness - super cheap and great gym.

I took up Diamond Painting. Inexpensive and a great stress reliever. You have to focus on that solely and it worked for me. Now 10 days short of 1 year sober!!

Start growing plants vegetables. Look at how much time you are on your phone. Walk the same amount of time. Think back to what occupied your time before you drank. Work a puzzle.

Get up and figure out what you like to do to make you feel better without alcohol. I am writing my heart out and that gets things out of my head. Other people have found singing, painting, hiking, nature, hanging with sober friends. Find a hobby so you can start getting motivated by something you like.

Do chores one at a time if they are too overwhelming. Remember you have to work. You can do it!

Talk to a therapist, could be use are trying to address mental health issues (depression etc) with alcohol. I found myself self medicating on negative emotions and through CBT and addressing mental health stuff have found much more contentment and peace in being present

Go for a walk and listen to your favorite music

I lift weights play Xbox, jam with or without friends, work on the house, laundry, and read. But mainly I reaffirm my choice for sobriety because I don't like the way alcohol affects me, especially when I'm bored.
