Anybody have any advice on how to set a solid

Anybody have any advice on how to set a solid sleep schedule? I'm on day 6 and I either cant sleep at all or I'm dead to the world and have a heck of a time waking up. I've tried making my own bed time but I'll just lay awake all night staring at the ceiling and I've tried setting alarms early to give me time to get motivated. Neither seems to work for me.

Keep trying. Be consistent. You have to relearn how to sleep. It will take sometime. Once you do its nice.

Passing out and sleeping are very different things. I used to think drinking helped me sleep. It didnt. I was just passing out.

I take the Calm magnesium supplement about 30 min before I go to bed and it really helps me relax and fall asleep. Along with no screen time for a bit before bed and reading a book.

Warm whole milk, dont knock it lol . Youtube for green noise videos, get the live or the 12 hour with NO ADS, it says it on them. Green noise is known to trick your mind into feeling like your not alone and secure. Also try the meditation videos there, I prefer a woman's voice 10 hours deep sleep, the walk down videos helped when I started. My rule is light goes out 1030 pm, and comes back on at 7 . Nothing is going to change in that time frame, so you can relax till the world starts again tomorrow. Good luck

Try to be patient. Your brain doesn't know how to work without whatever it's been living on. It takes time... I'm over 100 days in and still struggle with sleep. I hope you find relief soon.
Perhaps read up on establishing normal circadian rhythm. There is much literature available on the topic. That's what I'm working on.
