I have not even made it one day. SMH

But I’ve over the past couple of years dealt with horrible anxiety

Can you get prescription for anti anxiety meds?

Me finally sticking with AA meetings has worked wonders for the paralyzing social anxiety I used to go thu. It's been really good and cheap therapy in my case.

What do you think is causing it?

I have gabapentin, but I’ve been really nervous to actually take it. I was reading and heard some good stories and bad ones so it made me even more anxious

Really? I’ve been trying to check out some online AA meetings since I’m nervous to go in person

I’m not sure over a few years ago it just happened and I’m not sure what caused it.

It's ok to be nervous about going, I think we all were. It sure is rewarding once we start losing some of those fears. There won't be any pressure for you to share anything, but you certainly can. They've all been where your at and will be very supportive....I haven't any experience with źoom stuff, but it's helped others....Good on you for reaching out. You can do this if you really want it!

I used to have terrible anxiety and the book DARE by Barry McDonaugh saved me! Haven’t had an ounce of anxiety since I read it. I swear by it. Keep your head up and confidence strong! Confidence kills the fear & anxiety! :heartpulse:

Two usual methods are professional help including anti-anxiety medication and medication, with deep breathing have helped me. We often create our own stress. You can learn many techniques and tools for managing stress and anxiety. I hope you will share with someone you trust face to face.

I definitely think I create my own stress. SMH
