It doesn’t bother me anymore (approx. 18.5 months sober), but I will get nauseous if someone who has been drinking tries to kiss me. So sober and single for now, but if someone loves you, they’ll have no problem placing your need above their own wants.

Yes it does bother me but I don’t put myself in that situation without a plan B and someone(s) to call. Sometimes with my family I do & sometimes I don’t. Even then I can leave if I want to!

Hi Janie. Whenever you’re around a tempting situation, just remember that this is the good thing I am doing. It wasn’t easy for me for a long time. This is worth having for you. It’s not going to be easy, but keep fighting for it because it is so worth it!
