Anyone ever try the Sinclair Method with Naltrexone? AA didn’t really work for me, so I’m curious to hear everyone’s experience. Thanks!
Go to meetings for a year. It takes time.we have to work it.
However you stop drinking that works for you is great if it works for you. I agree with David though, did you give AA enough time? Are you involved or just gracing the meetings with your presence? It has been helping me mentally as well as physically, and I'm just under a month in. I don't wanna switch one chemical for another ..
Hello Tom,
Welcome to Loosid. I’m an active member of AA and this beautiful sober community. I’ve tried a few other programs such as; NA, recovery dharma, refuge recovery, life ring and on my own. The last one it’s a group and definitely didn’t work for the long term. The other programs are wonderful. I go to refuge recovery once in awhile for the group meditation. As for the others, well, really Covid shut them down for me getting to them.
As for the Sinclair Method, I’ve never heard of it. Maybe you could give us some insight on what it’s about? Others my need this method. Good luck my friend. When we share our experiences with others here our sobriety program is strengthened….
Whatever it takes
