Anyone experience frozen shoulder after quitting alcohol? Just curious. I was diagnosed a couple of months after I quit last time. It was horribly painful and I had to go to physical therapy for a long time. Painful therapy. I'm so worried it's going to happen again. I'm curious if there was a connection or not.
Not sure what frozen shoulder is...can you explain for those of us who are a little lost?
It's just like it sounds but very painful. It took a year for me to get full mobility back. It seems to affect women more than men. I don't know why it happened to me, besides being a woman in my forties. Doctor didn't know either.
Wow, that’s some wild stuff. I’d not heard of it before.
Wow, all my joints do this when I don't move them for a bit. If I sleep on my side all night it takes 10 minutes to get up. Seriously painful. I always attributed it to the steroids I've been on. Never hear of it as an actual medical diagnosis.
I'm sorry to hear that. Sounds like you might have arthritus, which I'm also so lucky to have. Lol If you can move your arms after a while it's not fs. With fs you literally cannot move your arm. The pain was constant and debilitating. I went through physical therapy for months and they would stretch my arm as far as it could possibly go and I was in tears. I tried steroid injections but they didn't work. I slowly got mobility and movement back.. It took a year to be able to put my hair in a bun again.
