Well thank you. And I saw your other post, it really is struggle. You isolate to get sober then burn out on isolation. It's a vicious cycle
Yeah it’s been very difficult. I struggle with wanting to go out and “have fun” with my friends. However having fun involves drinking with my friends. Itslonely sometimes, but at least I’m not the only one that struggles!
I wish the best with it. I live in Westchase and I'm 2 min walk from a bunch of bars, it's tough not to just go out. One of the reasons I got on here was to find a network that isn't so focused on going to the bar
I totally understand! I try and just go to the gym and join my AA meetings when I’m feeling down. you are in a beautiful area though!
It is really nice over here. And that's generally what I do when I get sober. Hit the gym really hard, go to meetings. I've never had a problem not drinking, I just don't stop when I start. Then after 3-4 months of clean living I ease my way back, then quicker than I know I'm in binge blacked out.
Yep exact same way! It’s hard for me to stop once I start. I wasn’t drinking everyday or anything like that…but was binge drinking when I would. Where did you move from?
