Anyone have a hard time feeling deserving of a sober life? Sometimes I just get in this weird thinking that says after everything I've done that I deserve to be lost. Logic knows it's not true but my emotions get out of whack. I think it's just a hard pill to swallow that some things aren't forgiven and you have to make a living amends. I've never done anything more than six months, and now I have to live a life of helping others, with no guarantee everything's gunna be awesome. I hate to say it buy I thought you got sober and everything was easier. Not the case.

Yes I’ve felt that way for a while . I never thought I deserved a good life after destroying my family’s life. But you start to realize that everyone is deserving of forgiveness . We don’t need to be punished for the rest of our life.
Yup, but it is a lie our disease tells us on a regular basis, I still have that though every once in a while. I recognize it as a lie. The steps of sobriety help tremendously with this and encourage everyone to work them if you’re ready for this type of misery to go away. I can insure you that you are worthy of a sober/ healthy life
