Anyone heard of any sober gaming groups? Having just upgraded to PS5, seemed like a thought.
Also, it seems as if quitting using has left me with more of my income so I can buy other dumb stuff from old hobbies... weird how that works

Sober gaming is a great idea. Not just for video games. I've God some friends who play D&D who would benefit from a sober group.
Not video games, but I found a sober board game MeetUp once upon a time.
I know a sober D&D group near me but I have a hard time scheduling that in, I have other commitments that make me uncomfortable trying to add that. My family is big on board games and they're sober, so...close enough? Scythe every Sunday
That's a great idea that needs to happen.
Amazon sells a Recovery Bingo.
Hey man, I recently got PS5 also, and was thinking the same thing. I bought it thinking it would just be for my daughter and me to play on together, but the Spider Man game I bought at her request ending up hooking me instead, lol. What games are you playing online? Maybe we should try to start a group on hereβ¦
Usually whatever my brother is wanting to play; we're more about hanging out than specific games. Smite and Back 4 Blood are certainly better with people. Most of what we play are cross-platform since we prefer different systems
I'd love to find one. People seem to be a lot more quiet about their like/ love for video games where I live.
Well, we can always start one. I ran a "non-toxic" group for Apex players who just want to have fun and not be try-hards for a while, I imagine you can get a similar dynamic going for people who want to game without things like people talking about how drunk they are or they need to pause to do bong rips, or what have you
