In my sobriety I am able to appreciate what’s around me. Before I never took the time because I was so wrapped up in my plans and schemes. Monsoon season is setting up here and I’m taking time to stop and smell the rain.

Yes, the southwest has a very specific beauty. Particularly when monsoon season begins. The desert comes to life. I love it.

Well, my layover was 6 hours today. I saw mountains, ate at a restaurant, and got a massage from the airport. I can officially mark AZ off my list. Woot!
