I ran into William last week at Alano. When he saw me he said, “this must be God” before saying hello he continued to ask me to be the speaker at his meeting that is this Wednesday night. Oh man. I guess I’m as ready as I’ll ever be. I had all weekend to prepare but I’m nervous AF. Any pointers?

Speak from the heart, pray before you go in, ask your higher power to guide your words and just let it flow. I never write anything down or prepare, I just say a little prayer and speak my truth, my experience, strength and hope. The disease will fill you with fear, but don’t listen, you will do great. People want to hear your story, believe that

Thank you! You’re right, after all God is doing for me what I could not do for myself. I just need to remember that. I want it to flow naturally. I still choke when I share. But I definitely want to reach the newcomer. Thanks Jason!!!
