Attended 1st aa meeting today. It helped to hear pieces of my story from others. I thought I was the only one. I decided to get up and go to one since I been doing good not drinking. But I woke up to a beer left in fridge by an uncle I’m letting crash at my place. I slammed it shut and left to a meeting as I felt quickly angered by it. He was gone before I woke up. I’m just now getting back home now and will let him know alcohol is the devil and not allowed in my house. Alcohol is trying to kill me man but I’m not about to let it win fk that! I pray God helps me in my delivery when approaching my uncle about this.

Just keep going, look for the similarities you hear. I suggest reading the first 164 pages of the big book and eventually working the steps. It truly saved my life and now I live a great fulfilling life. If it can work for me, I believe it can work for you. Good going and just don’t pick up no matter what

Sure will. They gave me that book today for free. I have more time on my hands now so I will definitely read it. I want this so bad! I want to keep adding things that will help me.
