Attended a family’s member celebration of life yesterday, people eating, drinking, singing Karaoke. As in the past I have relapsed in situations like these. I publicly declared my self sober to family and friends and was not tempted to try the devils water.
Most of my family dont drink and I was able to enjoy the gathering, it is amazing how when you are honest with yourself and others about your journey…you gain more strength to stay in your path to recovery.
