Attended my first a.a. meeting tonight, the hardest part was walking myself through that door. The support and care they all shared was overwhelming, I was extremely nervous walking in but it was a great decision

Good for you brother! The hardest and best decision I ever made was walking through the doors of AA. I heard at a meeting once, "I can't promise that AA will get you into heaven but I can promise that it will open up the gates of he*l and let you out."
Keep coming back brother. It will get better.
