Back to square one

Back to square one. Relapsed at 1 month and 8 days. I was so upset with myself that I just kept drinking after that. But I need to do better I can’t let myself keep falling apart.

You ok? Added ya!

Add me! I’m here for ya

Don’t be too hard on yourself it happens. I know that is easier said than done but we have all been there and you just got get through one day at a time

Don’t just try harder. That doesn’t work. You need to do something different or something more. Learn from the relapse. Add to your routine; more daily readings, more prayer and meditation, more meetings… Was there a situation that you put yourself in that triggered cravings. Learn from it, but definitely don’t be ashamed or upset with yourself.:slightly_smiling_face:

Don’t beat yourself up over it, just relax and take a deep breath. Your fine! We all are just human, right? Just think back to what got you reaching for the booze, and if you could have chosen a different response. Next time you get triggered you have a better idea how to cope. Just don’t quit quitting! :kissing_heart:

Move past the guilt and don’t stop trying. We’ve all struggled in the beginning. Get over the past and strive for that future. One day is all you need.

You aren't at square one because you still know you want to be sober!

Have faith and it'll come

So happy your here

Yes, for sure! I kind of hate counting days, if only because if you mess up I think it makes some people feel defeated and not motivated. Personally, thinking any lapse meant I was ruined really did me in.

It's in my view, a journey & girl, you're still on it!
