Having to move out my apartment, had the place decorated so cute, cant afford it alone. Husband left in December, kept it up with savings i had. Now off to sober living to save again. One day i will be in my own space. Its just sad u know.

Same. It is kind of sad. I completely understand what you’re going through. Look at it this way, you will have a new place one day and you’ll be in your best my mind and you’ll be better and stronger to enjoy your new place.

Life threw me many roadblocks on my journey. From being asked to leave places to choosing to leave for a variety of reasons that were not in my control.
Being around others on a similar path helps in many ways.
A place is a place. One that can be recreated one day for the new you.
Take pictures. Hold on to the good memories. Learn from the bad. Find a way to let go and move on.
As you change, other changes will be easier to handle.
Look at a list of the pros of the new place. What you and others there can benefit from. How you see things matters on this journey.

A beautiful and wonderful life awaits you. My old life had to completely change for the new one to come about. It was scary at times, but staying sober through it all really made it worth living.
