Being sober is punk rock

Rad. I just saw an advert on Insta for standing against a world that profits off impulse. Control IS counterculture. F yea! Discipline is tough, but we're here, right?

Discipline is tough but we're tougher!

Tell me about a time you were disciplined but it was hard?

Thanks for the motivation, Nat!

This past Saturday! Went to a paint & sip with co-workers at an apartment. Luckily, another friend brought non-alcoholic wine. It was nice to have that support as they're on the same path.

I’ve never thought of it that way, but you’re right. Choosing sobriety in a world that constantly pushes “just one more” is truly counterculture. We’re surrounded by ads, happy hours, stress culture, and instant gratification… and we’re over here saying, “Nah. I choose clarity.” That’s rebellion in the best way. Discipline isn’t glamorous. It’s not loud. It’s daily. It’s choosing long-term peace over short-term escape. And yeah, it’s tough — but we’re still here. Still choosing. Still standing. That’s punk rock energy, if you ask me. :metal:
One day at a time.

I'm thankful you didn't have a drink and your friend brought a beverage you both can enjoy while maintaining your sobriety. I love it!

Punk rock is right. I heard something this weekend and it said be weird. We are all weird. It’s weird when you find someone who isn’t weird! Take note and stay punk! :metal: It’s the upstream path to the things we’ve always wanted.
Good on ya, Nat!! Be a Brat!!! :fist:t3::facepunch:t3:
