Being Sober is then one of the greatest things in my life I've only been sober a year and some months but on my journey I've realized no matter how close family is or friends say they are when you become sober and you see the truth it's almost gut-wrenching the failure of friends and family that say they got your back but all reality is that they want you to have theirs and when you start speaking truth you're an a****** or you're a piece of s*** they try to belittle you no matter how hard it gets sobriety is worth every minute of every day never let anybody decide or say on who you're going to become that is your choice to stay sober or not but as for me sobriety is the best thing in the world
First thing, brother, it's not "only "1 year. It "is" 1 year and some months. Own that beautiful time! That's work, and nobody but you is doing it. And yes, getting clean/sober can really show you who is really around for you vs. who stuck around for what you had. It's surprising to see who can turn their back on you for you doing what is best for yourself. Stick with the winners. Im proud of you and your journey so far. Keep.up the good work.
