After months of quietly talking about sobriety with close friends, I realized it wasn’t something to hide. So I decided to celebrate a milestone publicly. And to my surprise and joy, old friends and acquaintances I had no idea were struggling reached out to tell me about their journeys. It’s my hope that in living authentically, I can support those on this path and maybe even inspire those who need that little push to get started!

Congratulations on owning who you are. I am always amazed how many of us find an instant community among those we were afraid to tell.
