I had a great night, last night, it was filled with family and fellowship. My 11 yr old daughter and went to the Birthday meeting followed by BINGO. Surrounded by stories, laughter and sobriety, my daughter and I decided to make this part of our lives every month.
Back when I was still active in my addictions this wouldn't have been possible. I was always too concerned about where my next buzz was coming from, too messed up to go anywhere, hiding from my kids trying to catch a buzz or so sick I couldn't get out of bed.
Never would I of dreamt bingo night with my kid and friends, would be what I look forward to on a Saturday.
