Today is my birthday and it’s always a super hard day for me. But I made it through it. Had some serious drinking thoughts this morning but I fought them and focused on the fact that I had a day off that could be spent doing something other than sleeping drunk and wasting the day. I’m proud of myself and I’m sober another day!

I wanted to add, and I am constantly seeing this here on Loosid, but when one has cravings the best thing to do is to TELL SOMEONE ELSE. Last Wednesday was 5 years for me. There's no way that I did it alone. Try to remember that? That's the best, and only, present that I can give you.
