Black Clouds

At my darkest hour when my world turned black,
I climbed to the highest ledge.
There, I made my peace with an unseen GOD and convinced myself that walking off was the only way out.
With no one to save me and stop me from leaving my troubles behind, I jumped.
To my surprise a hand reached out and pulled me back in.
An angel who I didn't believe in,
But made me see life was not meant to give up.
She showed me that without troubles and black clouds,
I'll never be able to see the rainbow that comes afterwards.
We walked down the mountain and the sun that was once on my back,
Shined brightly in my face.
It was at the moment, when my dark clouds dispersed,
The beauty of today became a reality.
A sense of purpose and feeling of knowing that the weather changes,
Sometimes there's dark clouds but most of the time its full of sunshine with birds chirping.
You just have stop so you can feel it.
The grass does become green,
But only with time and patience.
A seed doesn't turn into a rose by wishing,
But with care and faith it grows into a garden.
