Breathhhhhe

I have been waking up and immediately feeling all my anxiety and sadness in my chest :weary: I’ve been trying meditation, breathing, venting, and music but it seems the emotions have gotten much stronger after 73 days sober. Will hit a meeting by end of day. Have a great day, friends!!!

Has it been constant since you quit drinking or has it gotten worse lately?

It has definitely gotten worse. I was positive and everything before my second month mark along with the crazies but lately it has been jacking me up! Lol

Maybe get those endorphins pumping and go for a run?

Can you trace the root of the anxiety? If I stop and think about my anxiety I can pinpoint where it is coming from. A lot of times it is financial, loneliness, or wreckage I still need to deal with. I found a lot of freedom from doing a 4th step and processing it in a 5th step with another person. Usually I am trying to hide from a problem I don't want to deal with when I have anxiety.

Yes, working out helps me a lot. Just passed a week of it! Mostly weight lifting lol I hate running but I guess I should include that :sob:

Oh most definitely I can LOL I got cheated on, broken up with, waiting on a court date, having to find room mates to help keep my house, and my little family is falling apart no matter how much I change. Very stressful times!! Just being open, but a meeting helped out a lot and I reached out to people a lot yesterday and got a few more tools in my bag along with a big decision of having faith in what I can’t control/ self awareness and a hope I wouldn’t have gained without a friend!!
