Burnout

Feeling very burnt out lately and am having a hard time letting myself slow down and rest.

When you’re tired, sleep.
When you’re hungry, eat.
When you’re lonely, get to a meeting.

BREATHE

Have you ever tried box breathing please look it up on the Internet there are videos about it. I do it every day all day, and it really does help.

I can relate

Jesus built the world in 6 days. In the 7th day he rested. Rest is a good thing. When I get home every day from work, I take 20 minutes and just lay down. Sometimes a little longer, sometimes a little shorter. My wife does the same. It’s a decompression technique we tried and it worked for us. Phones off, we don’t bother each other until the other comes out. And then talk about the day. We even put up black out curtains to just zone out and relax. Hope that’s a good idea for you!
