Now that everything is back open I’m back to gigging. Back in bars, back in venues. Soon I will be back on tour. Looking back, this industry certainly enabled my active addiction as it is essentially fueled
by drugs and booze. Now that I’m sober, It gets lonely, and hard to connect in a room full of drunk people. All too often i feel like theres a big sign on my back that says “hey! I’m the sober guy” and its just awkward. I don’t mind that people are using around me, and i don’t feel tempted just feel lost in place where I used to feel at home.
