I went through this same thing! I could not sleep for anything, but knew it was for a good reason. Cheers.

It’s been like this on and off since getting sober… but you are so right it’s all for good reason and most importantly I’m sober. :relaxed:

It sure is! :pray:t3::relaxed:

Hey Courtney. I’m dealing with the same thing at the moment. Glad you have gratitude even when trying to sleep. Any moment awake and sober is worth it.

Everyone, we’re still awake, but we are sober. I’m proud of us

I think it’s time to write a gratitude list…

Today, I am grateful for:
*My sobriety
*This app and all of you cool people

  • getting to go to 2 AA meetings
  • my sponsor
  • breakfast sandwiches
  • Star Trek
  • my cool dog
  • sunshine
    *cookies

If you’re awake, anyone, I’d love to know what you’re grateful for

Sober w/ no sleep is way better than passing out and forgetting half the day/night Try some melatonin

Yep yep! I finally went to Dr for sleep and got medicine. Game changer!!!! Even now, so far removed from all that, it helps a lot!

Going through that myself!! I guess it’s just part of the process.

A couple capsules of valerian root at night helped me a lot sleeping in the first year of sobriety. I sleep well most nights with no aid these days, and I’m grateful for that!
