I think anything is possible with the right intention and support. That’s just my own opinion!

It can be but it takes both people being willing and with good intentions and understanding. I’m in that boat myself and it’s not looking good for me…

Not looking good for me either

Any two people can create a toxic relationship, unfortunately. Any two people can also put in the work to make a relationship better. The challenge is both people have to be willing to change and put in the work. That is the hard part.

I know a thing or two about toxic relationships. In every case, I stuck around longer than I should have and the only person who truly got hurt was me.

For me it this she is 100% verbally supportive however she is not an alcoholic like me. drinking is how we have always spent time together it’s what we did on dates and how we relaxed in the evening. When I am sober she sneaks drinks in an effort to be supportive by not drinking right in front me but I can smell it her behavior changes then I am not on her level and I am party grossed out by alcohol but at the same time want to join in as she is my primary support in and lives with me. But if sobriety is my number one goal it would be far easier without her I just haven’t decided yet
