Can urgent care treat alcohol detox?
Actually, I went to urgent care to get some meds for my last detox. They gave me a small prescription of Librium. Then I detoxed at home. The Librium helped a little, but it still sucked. Just gotta get through them. It’s worth it.

If they can’t give what is needed they can arrange for inpatient detox and or treatment facility. That said an ER is a better choice.

You know,I never thought about that, but as others have said an ER would be able to handle this.
No...better off going to a real detox facility or at least an ER which can admit you and detox you. Alcohol withdrawal is too much for an urgent care
