Hey Wyatt, sorry you feel that way. You can get day one down just like millions of us have, and some of us (me included) have had many good first days. How about planning a day 1, and sticking to it?
Maybe sleep in, take a walk, have breakfast, enjoy thing a of life that you enjoy before alcohol got to be such a big influence.
You definitely can do this.
People, places and things.. Don't expect them to avoid you. We will be tested, but we don't want to test ourselves with NOUNS that no longer serve us! 
Recovery doesn’t ask for perfection, just persistence. Congratulations!
