I get to celebrate my dads bday tomorrow and actually be present and will remember the day! Which is another gift I’m getting in my sobriety 🫶🏻

Such a beautiful thing to celebrate. Especially since we are all getting older and our days are definitely numbered. I have had a few friends lose their dad's in the last few months and my own has leukemia so recently I have felt all the more appreciative that he is still here with us.
Ya i can relate to that,I’ve lost a lot of family members recently. So I’m grateful for any time spent with them and in my recovery makes it so much better. I’m so sorry to hear that about ur dad! Prayers will come ur way for sure 🫶🏻:pray:
