So im at the part where its been a battle, factz. I dont have the urge to use but im really looking for guidance from my higher power cause it seems like i cant catch a break. Persistent is an understatement, ive applied for so many jobs its disgusting, bug them 2 to 3 times a week, also seems like every frienship i start to embark on quickly ends up like old encounters, either false or just not right real fast. Kinda sucks but just staying positive, keep praying, and keep grinding

I literally have been feeling the same way but I am staying positive even tho it's hard sometimes. What you just posted was the words right from my head honestly feels good to know I am not alone with this journey.

MEANING...WE ARE NO LONGER IN THE AGE OF THE WAGE EARNER.... BUT THE AGE OF THE ENTREPRENEUR.... EVEN THOUGH MOST PEOPLE DON'T BELIEVE IN THEMSELVES ON THE LEVEL TO SEE THEMSELVES AS A BUSINESS OWNER.. WE ARE IN A TIME IN HISTORY THAT IT IS MORE PREDICTABLE TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN OUR OWN BUSINESS... THE SCHOOL SYSTEM IS STILL TEACHING HOW TO GET A JOB... HOW IS THAT WORKING... ITS NOT. HOW DO WE CHANNEL OUR ENERGY INTO SOMETHING THAT WILL DEVELOP OUR SELF IMAGE AND STABLEIZE OUR RECOVERY... TODAY I'M IN YEAR 37. I DID 40 MONTHS OF DRUG AND ALCOHOL TREATMENT IN MY 20S.... DIAGNOSED AS A MIDDLE STAGE WETBRAIN ALCOHOLIC WITH A DRUG PROBLEM... TODAY I OWN 2 COMPANIES.... 1 OF THEM I TEACH ENTREPRENEURSHIP ON A PROFESSIONAL LEVEL....... IN THE RECOVERY COMMUNITY.. REACH OUT FOR INFORMATION AND GUIDANCE..... YOU CAN DO THIS... AS long as you don't put the CART BEFORE THE HORSE

Sometimes it helps knowing others are going through the same stuff. I keep looking at it like I battled to get here, and most people I knew that are still using wouldn't ever have the strength to make it this far, with that being said imma stay Head up, 10 toes down, and continue this thing. I ain't taking steps backwards ever again if I can help it. Thanks for your reply tho

It’s all going to work out. Stay focused and what you want to accomplish. You might have a couple bumps in the road but it’ll smooth out and you’ll be so glad you hung in there.
