Choose Your Hard

To win this battle with the demon, I believe your mind must be stronger than your emotions. Always take the hard road. The hard road requires one to sacrifice, it makes us resilient, but most importantly, disciplined.

Do everything opposite of what your feelings are telling you to do. My old sponsor told me once when I relapsed, this addiction thing is a feelings disease. I know now what he meant.

Always listen to your mind over your feelings. Your mind is the most powerful weapon to win the war happening within! Whatever your feelings are telling you to do, please pause and take a moment.

That feeling in your gut that's telling you don't do it, it's your mind talking to you. All you have to do is listen. Do not let your feelings tell you not to make that call for support. Your mind is the voice that put the idea in your head to call in the first place. Your feelings are giving you every excuse why you shouldn't do it. Fight against those feelings, you're not bothering anyone, you're not being a burden, and you're not alone.

Always, always, always, remember... you are special, you are loved, and you are worthy!! Type in the link below and be inspired! I'm Gr8tful for another day of recovery!! Peace
