Dealing with complications and starting to retain fluid. I’m feeling helpless after relapsing last week.

I still have to take diuretics daily for water retention and I’ve been sober for three years. I feel you. Hang in there it gets better and the body adjusts. Plus the liver is amazing. Give it time it can heal.
They doubled my diuretics after my relapse. I’m just trying to stay away from the hospital
Many relapse. You’re not alone! You’re here and talking about it and that’s a wonderful blessing. Try not to beat yourself up and give yourself support for today’s sobriety.
I’ve had cirrhosis for 12 years now and the complications are a real pain sometimes. Let’s just get to midnight sober.
