Coming up on 7 months sober on the 22nd….My first birthday sober since I was 18 is coming up on Xmas Eve. Not going to be an easy task but I’m up for the challenge!

I'm in agreement that this is the 1ST OF MANY BIRTHDAYS SOBER. IM IN AGREEMENT THAT YOUR DRINKING AND USING CAREER HAS BEEN RUINED AND RECOVERY IS REAL PERSONAL TO YOU SO YOU LEARN HOW TO PROTECT IT. I’m nervous for my first holiday season without drinking, I can’t imagine dealing with 2 important events that normally involving drinking. You’ve got my respect if that means anything.

I also was sober on my birthday!! Kind of forgot this till I read your post. First time that I can remember being sober on my BD maybe 30 some years.!!
I just hit my one year of sobriety. The feeling of not needing alcohol is one of the best feeling ever. Way better than the buzz or being drunk. Stay stay strong Matt.
