If anyone would have told me 3 yrs ago that I would end up thanking my ex of 33 yrs for leaving me, I would have said they were F*cking crazy! But it happened. I went from the lowest point in my life to something wonderful now...That divorce turned out to be a gift. I finally started taking the program seriously and a few months ago I thanked her for saving my life!

I too have a 30 year ex. During my decades of recovery he was an active alcoholic!
