Well, thank you. The world is a better place when we spread kindness at the rate of glitter. :sparkles:

I have become a grateful person living in the "here and now." Living for the moment has drastically reduced my anxiety, guilt, and shame while being grateful has changed my attitude into a positive one.
We all have different needs to stay clean and sober.
You have been clean and sober a very long time. How do you maintain?

Watching my dad initiated my reason. Now living for Jesus is my reason to stay.

I was a person who could "hold her liquor." But I didn't want my kids to live in fear and abuse like I did. I was beat for mistakes. I missed several meals [at times a week] because my dad would rather buy beer than feed us. I would get told "shut up" when I told him that I love him. I didn't want to spread that to my kids.

You are an amazing Mom!
Amanda, have an amazing weekend!
