I have a friend that's in recovery as well I know that her recovery is really truly none of my business and that's really where my post should stop LOL she's just never gotten past the point where she needs to feel needed by others or she feels like nothing. I don't know that she identifies this or is ever talked to her sponsor about it and ask her friend I want to help her but I know she won't listen so I guess I'm asking y'all just for prayers for anybody that is going through this that just needs to be needed or they feel worthless. I think I used to be like this but that's not the case any longer and I'm not sure I could tell anybody else how to get there or I would. Blessings prayers and sobriety to all of you and have a great night

When I was drinking I felt worthless. Early in recovery I felt worthless. But in time as I built myself up again I regained my confidence. Hopefully she can too!

Praying for another alcoholic is an excellent way of helping someone who is an active addiction. All I know is that Iām powerless over people, places and things and if I get too involved with someone who is an active addiction I just might end up drinking myself before I get that person sober.

I think a lot of us know that feeling of wishing we had the right words for someone we care about. Keep being the best support you can be. Keeping you both in my prayers.
