I am confused if your coming clean of drugs and still drink? I know so many who are clean from drugs and go to meetings but drink? So if your an alcoholic you can use drugs (I know that’s ridiculous)… I was sober for 3 years and went to both meetings NA and AA and I worked in a liquor store and people who claimed to be clean still out partying and drinking?????

My addiction is to alcohol. I can’t imagine why or how anyone could argue they’re sober if they are still drinking alcohol. That’s a powerful drug

Well my addiction if you will is with alcohol, not drugs. So I, for one, do partake in a little weed now and then, won’t turn down a bump of food blow and have popped a zany bar from time to time. 
I haven’t had a drop of alcohol in over 15 months and I consider myself donor! I even had a counselor in rehab once that drank alcohol and she said her addiction was heroin, not alcohol!
You're not "sober" or even remotely squared away if you do a "bump" here or there or any of that other mess.
It’s just people that aren’t honest. In NA they state clearly that alcohol is a drug and in AA if you smoke weed you aren’t sober. I know some who do and that’s their business but it’s not sobriety.
