You can do it Glenn - get to a meeting - do something, anything except drink - call a sober person - go for a walk - the feeling will pass - let it move through you like a cloud passing through the sky - I promise the craving will go away

It's super hard, dude. It took me over a decade of trying before it appears to have finally stuck. For me it finally took some real consequences and some suffering. I hope you don't have to go that route. Whatever you do, don't stop trying. I'm rooting for you.
You can't stop or you don't want to stop drinking.
The two are different.
"You can't stop" tells us that you're willing to stop however you're ready to stop.
"You don't want to stop" tells us that You want to carry on a useless life.
