I have those exact same issues. Once I got clean from drugs 6 years ago, I gained 100 pounds and couldn't stop eating. I went on ozempic last year and it worked somewhat but the more it cut my appetite the more I started shopping. I had gastric bypass surgery one month ago. I thought it would cut my desire for food but it hasn't, just my ability to eat it. I find myself getting sick because I eat stuff I know hurts my tummy but can't resist or I eat too much but can't throw up.
Addiction has no bounds. My addiction bleeds from alcohol, drugs, then food, women, work, gaming etc.
