This morning i found a baggie.. I grabbed it and for a about 20 mins starred at it and i went as far as opening it up… I stood up went into the restroom and flushed it. My hands were shaking and I was telling myself to stop but i knew I couldn’t. 3 days sober for the second time taking it one day at a time.
Good for you
You did one of the hardest things an addict has to decide. You could have so easily relapsed but you are here posting coming for support and that is such a bigger scarier step than most would have done. Good for you man
Thank you guys, honestly the day the depression has been a lot but I am out of bed and in public for a little bit. All I wanted to do today was lay there
That’s good. Getting outside and getting some air gets your endorphins going. You’re doing great just take it 30 seconds at a time and remind yourself it takes time and work but you are willing to do it.
If you ever need someone to talk to just message me. I have to take my days minutes at time so I understand.
I’m so glad that you did what you did you should be so proud of yourself
Dude this is awesome and you should be incredibly proud of yourself. The first few weeks are uncomfortable, strange, and a roller coaster. But, when you break through the clouds you are going to feel amazing.
That is admiring
So I did it again. It’s never only one drink.
You have to think of it as your body being severely allergic to alcohol.
You can start again. You can try again. Just do not give up. We’re here for you.
Hey Matthew: You definitely dodged a bullet! I've been there. I hope that you have someone who can support you. Or maybe a support group? It makes all the difference.
Huge accomplishment. This one's for the books
Way to go! You passed one of your many tests you will hit. I am impressed that you had just a few sober days and you were able to do that. Keep on keeping on!
Great job.
I’m proud of you.
Wow!!! So so very proud of you. Actually I’m crying! Your so strong.
Alcoholism is a disease that tells us it’s not a disease.
Don’t be angry at yourself that’s what alcoholics do.
