At the gym. Had a fairly okay day. I'm breathing and I'm grateful for that. My mind is hard at work trying to rationalize stopping by a store on the way home. Its just a habit. I don't need it though.
It’s ok to think it just don’t apply it
Check-in on you. How’s everything going.
I hope you are home and did not stop. Build on that hard stop, my friend.
I am glad you're realizing that it's a habit, you're making a huge change already.
And by saying it your one step ahead. God bless keep walking the path you are. Proud of you. God bless.
That’s the decease talking to you, feel free and talk back to it. I found it to be a huge relief and a big part of my recovery. Ya I know talking to yourself feels crazy but if you’re not drinking who cares

@ana378261 You're at the right place... The gym. Work it out. Get your mind focused on the good stuff .. your body and health.
Just remember for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. Don't let the thought of drinking/using get the best of you. You're way more stronger than it.
Keep up the good work.
Ana, smart to tell on yourself, I do that all the time even at 16 years sober. My mind/ego is not my amigo! I remind myself many times everyday.
Often I find myself at war with bad habits. Although I stumble and sometimes fall. I get up and try a new way by opening my mind to change. Living outside my comfort zone is when I get the best results.
Stay strong. Hmu anytime
Don't worry you got this and you're not alone
What’s a non alcoholic drink you like ? Go buy that. Think about your freedom you have in sobriety. Also, if you’re into going to AA meetings, check out one on Zoom ( Meeting Guide in your app store). Hang in their tap into your higher power, call your sponsor, and we’re here for you too!
