Currently going through my "first" breakup since I was a teenager. 2 months shy of 12 years together. I was in recovery 1 year and 6 months before relapse, and another relapse before the actual separation. Just reached my 30 days, and the breakup was as of the 1st. Im clear headed and trying to stay strong the best I can, stuff is just so hard. If anybody can send some positivity my way or even advice, I'd greatly appreciate it. Thank you.
Sending you so many positive thoughts and strength Jamie! You got this! Sobriety makes hard things easier, we feel everything, but we also manage our emotions better.

Keep emotions away and work on your soberity first.
Take it this bv way - meeting is a coincidence and separation is certain.
Everybody has to be separated at one point in life. There is always reason behind something and always live in the will of god. Live for yourself first than for others.
Im going through the same. I just work on me, go to work and do a lot hobby (old and new). Its hard its very hard, but when we least expect it everything comes together. Just one goal at a time and 1 minute at a time. Take it minute by minute.
Stay busy! One day at a time. When you’re sober you won’t have regrettable drunk texts!
. You got this!
