I’m grateful to have found my way
Learning to live different every day
Sometimes I might feel depressed
But in those moments I sit and pray
Finding strength from deep within
Learning to forgive my sin
Holding on to hope and love
Where I’m going isn’t where I’ve been
Reaching out I find a hand
Leading me to new found land
So I walk along with friends
And love how sobriety began
I have much to be grateful for
All the things god has in store
I feel the sun brighter than before
I feel the love and so much more.
