Daily Gratitude

Sorry y'all posting this late. It's been a good sober day went to watch the Eagles game and had some good sober fun with people in the rooms. I got wings for the game for everyone! Grateful for my job, family, friends in AA and NA, sponsor, people on this app, and my higher power for keeping me sober one day at a time

Joe I go to a zoom meeting at 7:15 in Landsdale PA; Expect a Miracle. Consider yourself invited. I am very interested in you and your conscientiousness!

I have actually been to expect a miracle Friday night at 6:00!! My buddy goes there and he told me there is also a good beginners meeting on Friday. I have never gotten into zoom meetings I will have to look into it. Thanks Tony! I want to get to know you better as well!

I occasionally attend that one too!

Okay great I will try to make it I know I have a commitment this Friday

I am profoundly deaf and I actually hear better in zoom because there is so little background noise.

Go well!

Ahhh okay I see well I'm sorry you have to deal with that but happy you have a meeting you can go to.

No it’s not the whole story. Yeah I have lost hearing as I have aged but I have had a career in deafness as a professional so it is a God “thang” for me. I started working in the Illinois School for the Deaf and learned to sign in 1969 so I am lucky I was able get experience early and have been a counselor for the Deaf among other things, like it was a stepping stone towards getting an education and that’s the short version. I have always been blessed by helping others especially the disabled people who tend to really appreciate it.

Well it sounds to me like you have found your calling in life and you're definitely helping other people so keep doing what you're doing. As long as it makes you happy :+1:
